Video Production

We've been looking forward to this day for a long time! Securing professional video producers @Josh Hickie and @Hugo Nobay out here at Skirmish Sunshine Coast Outdoor Paintball to capture a heap of great footage of paintball in action, for our website, and also filming for paintball social media clips.

Originally planned for the earlier in the year, but forced to put on the back burner due to covid 19, Josh contacted us last month to see if we were opened for paintball and ready to get things done . Oh Yeah! we were ready alright!! We picked a day that had a full session of eager paintballers and set the date for 11 July.
The brief was short: plenty of close up action, Drone footage cruising over Aussie World and The Banana Bender Pub and to showcase the adrenaline pumping experience of paintball, at one of the most popular paintball fields in Queensland, then left it in the hands of Josh and Hugo to take on the project with freedom to be creative.
The morning started off with an early mist over the famous glass house mountains, which we thought might be followed rain... but no plans cancelled, as we thought, well , if it does rain it will only show customers how much fun paintball is in all weather! Didn't need to worry anyway, as the day turned out to be a typical Sunshine Coast magic day! blue skies and mild temperature.
Slight anxiety as Josh texts through that he and Hugo are stuck behind a truck, coming up from Brisbane, and we all know the dramas we've experienced with the road works at Palmview. But the boys turned up just in time and the filming got underway!

Lights camera action! and plenty of it! The players we had for the day didn't hold back, and provided plenty of exciting and dramatic paintball activity, with laughs along the way!

Due to the solid numbers of customers, we were able to run the infamous bunker game, which allowed spectators and cameramen to capture the paintball game up close and personal!

What an all over great day out at Skirmish Paintball! Thanks to all the players involved, and thanks to Josh and Hugo for not holding back and dodging paintballs to get exciting footage! looking forward to the finished product and will keep you all posted! Cheers.
